Cam Lund Will Hit The Ice With The Sharks On Monday

After signing his entry-level contract on Friday, San Jose Sharks prospect Cam Lund will arrive in San Jose on Sunday and practice on Monday.

The centerman signed a three-year deal after his season wrapped up at North Eastern.

It is unclear when he will make his NHL debut, but with three days of practice next week, Thursday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs could be the target date.

“He’s got some skill. [He’s] got some size. I think he’s had a really good year at Northeastern,” Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky said. “A guy that can score. I think he’s really grown, I’d say, the last year and a half, as far as where his game has come from.”

Lund spent three seasons with Northeastern, and the center improved each year. During the 22-23 season, he had 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 35 games. In 23-24, Lund had 30 points (11 goals, 19 assists) in 35 games.

San Jose Sharks Host The Boston Bruins

On Saturday, the Sharks host the Boston Bruins in their second and final matchup of the season. Alexandar Georgiev will get the start in goal against Joonas Korpisalo.
