Both Macklin Celebrini and Kiefer Sherwood will be game-time decisions for the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, but both are expected to warm up.

*UPDATE*: Celebrini and Sherwood will both play on Saturday. The Sharks also made some line adjustments.

Celebrini practiced on Friday and has missed the past two games with a lower-body injury. Sherwood played the entire game on Thursday against the St. Louis Blues and finished the game with 10 hits. Per Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky, Sherwood is “a bit nicked up” with an upper-body injury.

“We’ve seen it for years now, how he can impact our group in more ways than one. Obviously, the lines and balancing some lines out, so if he plays, obviously we’ll be excited,” Warsofsky said of Celebrini.

Yaroslav Askarov will make his 4th start of the season on Saturday. The San Jose Sharks goalie has been strong and could face his toughest game yet.

The Oilers bring a high-powered offense that contains Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Evan Bouchard. The trio has been dominating offensively, combining for 32 points.

Puck drop is scheduled for 1 p.m. PT, with warmups starting at 12:30. More information on Celebrini and Sherwood’s status will become clear then.
