The San Jose Sharks have signed former Ottawa Senators forward Adam Gaudette to a two-year contract.
According to Elliotte Friedman, Gaudette’s contract with the Sharks carries an AAV of $2 million.
The two-way forward broke out last season with 19 goals in 81 games. His previous career-high in goals was 12, set with the Vancouver Canucks during the 19-20 season.
After a slow start to the day, Sharks GM Mike Grier has begun to bring pieces into his team.
Philipp Kurashev and John Klingberg are the Sharks’ other signings so far.
