San Jose Sharks forward Michael Misa will play his first game at Madison Square Garden on Thursday.
The Sharks’ No. 2 pick will play in his third consecutive game after sitting out three of the first four games. Misa recorded his first point against the New York Islanders on Tuesday and is looking to recreate that offense against the New York Rangers.
Misa and Sam Dickinson visited the NHL headquarters after practicing at Chelsea Piers on Wednesday. The forward emphasized that just being in New York has been a surreal experience. Misa told reporters that he had dinner at Emilio’s Ballato.
The Sharks centerman experienced the steep ramp that visiting teams must walk up to get into MSG.
Here is Misa’s full San Jose Sharks pregame availability:
Misa will once again center the Sharks’ third line with Collin Graf on the left and Adam Gaudette on the right. Timothy Liljegren will also return to the lineup after dealing with an upper-body injury.
