Top San Jose Sharks prospect, Quentin Musty, will make his professional hockey debut on Saturday for the San Jose Barracuda.
It is unclear who the top prospect will play with, but fellow prospect Thomas Bordeleau was recently recalled to the NHL. Musty could easily replace him among the Cuda’s top-six forwards.

Musty joined the Barracuda last Monday after his OHL season with the Sudbury Wolves ended.
The San Jose Sharks drafted Musty 26th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft. The big winger has dealt with trade drama, injuries, and a playoff loss before he arrived in San Jose. He’s spent the last week practicing with the Barracuda to get acclimated.

Tonight will mark the first official game action for Sharks fans to see the top prospect in action. The 19-year-old played two preseason games for the Sharks before returning to the OHL. He failed to record a point. Before now, Musty had not been eligible to play in the AHL due to his July 6th birthday.
Fellow top prospect Igor Chernyshov will wait at least another game before he makes his pro debut.
Sharks fans will fill Tech CU Arena for the Barracuda’s final home regular season game.
