Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now spoke to Misa about his dinner with the San Jose Sharks. Misa told Peng that the meal went exceptionally well, and potentially playing with Macklin Celebrini excites him.

“Even though he is a year older than me, I definitely do look up to his game and everything he does on the ice, it’s pretty special watching him,” Misa told SJHN. “What he’s accomplished already in one year in the NHL. If they do draft me, it’ll be a great opportunity for me to meet him, take advice from him.”

James Hagens, another top-ranked prospect, met with four of the five teams drafting within the top five. The one team he didn’t meet with was the San Jose Sharks.

The NHL Draft will take place in Los Angeles on June 27th and 28th at the Peacock Center.
